I always thought the Spencer was an interesting rifle design. I have only ever seen them, never picked one up yet.These have a magazine in the buttstock right? How many rounds does it hold?-Ryan

Ryan,you're correct, the magazine is in the buttstock. The originals and reproductions in 56-50 hold seven around. I believe the 44-40 and 45 colt ones form Taylors can hold 8 or 9.Stephen
